According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Allan’s ‘most likely destination’ is Everton this summer. The 29-year-old looks on his way out of Napoli, but TMW say he won’t be granted a departure from the Stadio San Paolo unless an ‘adequate economic proposal’ is made.

Which club did Everton loan Cenk Tosun out to in January?

Allan is coming off the back of a disappointing season at Napoli, having suffered numerous injuries while falling out of favour, but he won’t come cheap to sign. Only days ago, his asking price was believed to be around £63m, but Napoli will have to lower their demands if they want Allan gone.

The Brazilian international has made 203 appearances in all competitions since joining Gli Azzurri for £10m from Udinese in 2015, scoring 10 goals and making 16 assists. Allan has struggled for playing time this season, however, making 16/26 Serie A appearances and 24/36 across the board, as per Transfermarkt.

Allan has amassed only 14 minutes of league football since mid-January and will turn 30 in January, but Napoli still recognise his value. The Brazilian is a fantastic box-to-box midfielder who creates opportunities at one end and is combative at the other.

Jean-Philippe Gbamin is likely to be out of action until 2021, Fabian Delph has underwhelmed in his debut season, Morgan Schneiderlin could be sold this summer and Gylfi Sigurdsson may join him.

Allan would be an improvement, but Everton are unlikely to pay over-the-odds to bring him to Goodison Park.
