According to The Athletic, Sandro Ramirez is ‘expected to leave’ Everton this summer, either on loan or permanently, like Oumar Niasse. The 24-year-old has been on the periphery at Goodison Park since 2018, so a move away from Merseyside looks on the cards.

Sandro has been unable to find a suitor willing to sign him permanently, however. The Spaniard finds himself low down the pecking order at Everton and has been unable to impress while out on loan, so it remains to be seen where he’ll end up.

Sandro joined the Toffees from Malaga in 2017 and has gone on to make 16 appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal. The 24-year-old last outing for Everton came in August 2018 and his only goal was in 2017. His lack of playing time led to loan moves back to Spain, but Sandro’s often underperformed.

He made 18 appearances for Sevilla (January 30, 2018 – June 30, 2018) without scoring, 26 appearances for Real Sociedad (August 30, 2018 – June 30, 2019) without scoring and 21 appearances for Real Valladolid (July 2, 2019 – present), scoring four goals.

Valladolid have shown some interest in signing Sandro permanently and Everton aren’t likely to stand in their way, but time will tell if an official bid comes.
