Both Bernard and Kurt Zouma have taken part in training yesterday – as per the Liverpool Echo – as we gear up for our clash with Southampton.
The Toffees are gradually getting close to all new players featuring on the training pitch and the pair could well be the most likely to play at the weekend.
Certainly, it is up to Marco Silva to see if they are match fit but they cannot be that far away and with a few more days under their belt they must be pushing to start.
It’s a double boost for the Blues, then, as we look to get our first win of the season against the Saints.
I think we played well enough to win against Wolves and certainly would have done if we’d kept all eleven players on the pitch but, that’s how it went, and it’ll be good to see us back at home at full strength this weekend.
