Everton have struggled to find their footing in the Premier League under Marco Silva and the latest defeat to Manchester United has left a sour taste in the mouth.
The Red Devils won 2-1 at Old Trafford on Sunday but plenty of debate has surrounded their opening goal, as Paul Pogba tucked home from the penalty spot after Anthony Martial won a controversial penalty for the hosts.
Idrissa Gueye got a strong foot on the ball in the challenge and many have since accused Martial, who went on to score United’s second, of diving – and are now furious with reports that the France international will escape punishment.
The Football Association has claimed that those guilty of simulation will face retrospective punishment but they are yet to properly clamp down, with Everton’s Oumar Niasse and West Ham’s Manuel Lanzini one of the few that have been sanctioned.
With the FA unlikely to take action against Martial, Everton fans flocked to social media to express their fury and we have gathered some of the best reactions below.
Futher proof of corruption within the fa.Clearly the so called top 6 are above the fa rules.

so predictable- fully expect it to be followed up by a charge for Marco for calling it what it was.

Obvious dive. No penalty. Dreadful decision. This continual bias towards the box office clubs is ruining the Premier league.

What do you expect, it’s not a level playing field, it’s corrupt and you as a journalist maybe should ask the FA to explain themselves, Jon Moss was the ref when Everton played Arsenal, he allowed a goal to stand when the player was 2 yards offside!!!

Of course not- cos he please for a media luvvy team and NOT Everton. If that had been Richarlison he’d be looking at 3 games out.

I suggest all Everton fans should email the FA and ask them why the rules are different for certain teams. This is what i sent. pic.twitter.com/psWBHMT7Dt
