Lucho, or Luis Gonzalez was the subject of a reported £11,000,000 offer from Everton but FC Porto’s official website reports the bid has been rejected.
In addition to this, Porto have acquired the other 50% percent of the player’s ownership rights, meaning he is now owned 100% by the Portuguese outfit.
Lucho was joint owned by a sports agency and FC Porto in a deal similar to that of Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano.
Everton may well decide to turn their attention to former loanee Manuel Fernandes who is reportedly courting interest from Sven Goran Eriksson.
