Sandro Ramirez seems upbeat on Instagram despite his career being at a crossroads. The striker doesn’t appear to have a future at Everton after struggling for form and playing time at Goodison Park, but there doesn’t appear to be many suitors interested in his signature.

The Toffees paid £5.2m and agreed a four-year deal worth £65k-per-week for Sandro in 2017, but he’s gone on to score just one goal in 16 appearances over the last two years and endured an unsuccessful loan in 2018/19.

The 23-year-old’s debut season (2017/18) at Everton could hardly have gone worse with Sandro racking up just 735 minutes of football in all competitions. He didn’t make a Premier League appearance in 2018 and spent the majority of the campaign out of the matchday squad.

His temporary move to Real Sociedad went even worse. Sandro failed to score a single goal in 26 appearances for the Liga side. La Real even contemplated cutting his loan deal short in January. The former Spanish u21 international has netted only one goal in all competitions since May 2017, so why would clubs be lining up to sign him?

Everton have spent close to £12m on Sandro and are unlikely to get their money back this summer.
