Nigel Worthington has said he can do nothing about the speculation that Norwich players are being eyed by Everton. David Moyes has been linked to a January transfer window swoop for The Canaries goalkeeper Robert Green and striker Dean Ashton. Moyes was seen at the Molineux when Wolves played Norwich and that has fuelled the speculation further.
Worthington, whose team are 17th following a dismal start to their Championship season, said: ‘You can never stop the speculation. All the players are on long-term contracts, but all you can do is wait and see what happens come January.’
