Many Everton fans have been reacting on social media, after Italy national team boss Roberto Mancini suggested that Moise Kean may have to leave Goodison Park if he is to make his Euro 2020 squad.
Kean only moved to Merseyside in the summer on a five-year contract when we agreed to pay a potential £27.5million in a deal with Juventus, where the striker had scored eight goals in 21 senior games.
The Vercelli-born centre-forward made his senior Italy debut while on the books of the Turin outfit, too, with Mancini rewarding Kean his breakthrough onto the international stage in November 2018.
Mancini has overlooked the 19-year-old for his recent squads, though, with Kean instead left with the Under 21s and now faced with the potential of not travelling with the Azzurri for their Euro 2020 games next summer.
The former Manchester City boss is not opposed to recalling Kean should he show that he deserves another cap for his country, however Mancini has told Rai Sport, via quotes by The Athletic’s Patrick Boyland, that he may need to seek a move away from Everton if he wants to feature in his Euro 2020 plans.
“I hope he finds a club that allows him to play regularly. A lot will depend on what he does from now until May for the Euros,” Mancini said.
Kean has made nine appearances in the Premier League for Everton since penning his £60,000-per-week contract in the summer, but has only started twice and has not featured at all since our 2-0 win over West Ham United.
Should we sell Kean in January?
Yes, he can be replaced
No, loan him out
No, trust Silva's plans
No, he should be playing
Here are some of the messages shared as fans reacted to Mancini addressing Kean’s chances of featuring for Italy in the future…
I’m sure come the end of the season he will be playing. End of the day it’s up to the player as well to prove himself. Everton have gave him a great platform.

If Kean is good enough he’ll finish the season as our main striker but Silva needs to give him a run of games there.

Baffling how the club are doing the same to Kean as what they done to Vlasic and Lookman.

Yeah, look at Pulisic (a much more experienced striker), giving him time seems to have paid off ????

Or simple solution Everton could just make him the main striker then we should see benefit of talented player an he gets game time he needs

I feel for him. Clearly one of the most tallened lads in our squad, but the fraud wont play him. No risks = no reward!

Doing my head in already, it’s worse than when lukaku used to go away on international duty

If we didn’t have such a massive addiction for only getting the ball in the box via the medium of crosses from the full backs, he’d probably do ok.
