Everton continue their fine performances under the guidance of Marco Silva with a narrow victory over Cardiff City on Saturday.
Gylfi Sigurdsson scored the only goal of the game to ensure all three points stayed at Goodison Park, extending the club’s recent run of form to just one defeat in the past seven Premier League matches.
A stern test lies ahead this weekend as the Toffees make the short trip across the city to tackle arch-rivals Liverpool, a game where Everton are ranked as the underdogs with Jurgen Klopp’s side yet to taste defeat in the league this season.
