Following from a season that saw Leeds open a can of worms that was ‘Spygate‘, it seems to make sense that some football clubs go to some lengths to prevent the same problem from happening to them, and Everton seem to have joined the club.

Marco Silva has reportedly asked the club if he can ‘screen off’ pitches at Finch Farm from the public according to The Liverpool Echo.
As to why the Everton boss has taken this direction, Silva said: “Because you are talking about the car park and if you are working near there it doesn’t make sense if the people are in the car park.”
The Portuguese boss added: Maybe it is new here at Everton but if you look for all the biggest clubs in the world, they work in this way and I think the reception of the players was very good to the change.”
Some Everton fans were confused by the move, though, and took to social media to ponder why Silva has taken such a step.
Here is what some Toffee supporters had to say on Twitter…
Every team knows its a boring 4-2-3-1 well before we turn up so no one's spying Marco!

BREAKING – Everton spend millions on new 1st team screen so as to revolutionise 4-2-3-1 formation into errrrrr, 4-2-3-1 formation…

Might be worth considering the same for Goodison.

He’s looking for excuses. Everyone knows he’s one dimensional.

It was truly odd for some fans…
How about changing the formation to 4-3-1-2 ya beaut. Play two strikers up front and Richarlison behind!!

He will be gone by the time it takes to put them up anyway

Not sure what he is trying to hide, having watched them this season I dont think they did any work on those pitches anyway

Maybe it’s too stop the players looking for the cameras. Focus their minds fully on training.

Silva is under pressure from supporters following a string of poor results.
