According to goal.com, there’s been no movement in the chase for Marcos Rojo from Manchester United.
The Argentine was linked with the club a few weeks ago with the rumours continuing to stem from the fact that we’re looking for a new centre-half.
However, things have gone a little quiet since and it looks as though that could remain the case for the rest of the window.
He’s a decent player but, to be honest, he is rash and so I am not too bothered if we miss out on him.
He’s got that streak in him to step out at the wrong time and make over-zealous challenges and that’s not what we need from a first-team centre-back.
With that in mind, then, I’m pretty pleased that we’re not going to go for him by the looks of things and hopefully we’ll sign a centre-half before the deadline that can make clean challenges more frequently.
