Moise Kean has once again made the headlines for the wrong reasons, having breached lockdown rules by hosting a house party that included a number of other people.

Video footage came from the 20-year-old’s Snapchat account and was sent privately to friends. Players should be on lockdown to avoid catching and spreading Covid-19, but Kean has risked the health of many through his actions.

Which club did Everton loan Cenk Tosun out to in January?

According to the Mirror, this party will land Kean in a lot of trouble. Everton are said to be “appalled” by his actions and released a statement following the fallout.

It read: “Everton are appalled to learn of an incident in which a first-team player ignored Government guidance and club policy in relation to the coronavirus crisis.

“The club has strongly expressed its disappointment to the player and made it clear that such actions are completely unacceptable. The amazing people in the NHS deserve the utmost respect for their hard work and sacrifice.

“The best way to show them respect is by doing everything we can to protect them.” It’s not the first time Kean has made the headlines for the wrong reasons and won’t be the last.

In September 2019, the 20-year-old was dropped from Italy’s national team for being late to a team meeting. In November, he was dropped from Everton’s matchday squad for being late to a pre-match team meeting. In January, 2019, Carlo Ancelotti admitted Kean needed to improve technically and tactically too.

The Italian international has scored just one goal in 26 games since he joined Everton from Juventus. He’s started only seven games in all competitions and has been substituted on & substituted off in the same game before.

Everton are on the hunt for a new striker this summer, having been linked with Andrea Belotti and Odsonne Edouard among others, so Kean may be uncertain about his role next season. Being disciplined for repeatedly breaking club rules isn’t doing himself any favours.

Inter Milan, AS Roma and Bologna have shown interest in the 20-year-old, so Everton have the option to cash in if they don’t believe Kean will turn things around.
