The break in football continues as we reach a full week without anything to really speak of.
Whilst we’re used to having pauses between seasons, this enforced one is something different and you do get the feeling some are, unsurprisingly, getting restless.

For players, it must be a weird experience. They have to keep fit and match sharp as much as possible but are having to do so alone with no real idea of how the season will go once it does start up again.
For Blues footballers, the case is no different and you can sense that Lucas Digne in particular is fed up with the lack of action right now.

How he, and Blues fans, will be longing to see him flying down the left-hand side at Goodison Park before too long.
Eventually, this will all be over but, for now, it remains a case of simply sitting tight.
