According to the Mirror, the Blues are being linked with a shock move for fringe Liverpool play Divock Origi.
This would be the first transfer between the two clubs for a good few years, of course, but it has happened before and so if it did again it wouldn’t be unheard of.
Indeed, with Origi barely playing for Liverpool at the moment and seemingly well down the pecking order, you could potentially see it happening.
In isolation and forgetting that he is a Red, he does have some potential.
At times for them he has shown pace and power but he does need to be more consistent.
He seems like the sort of player that Marco Silva could get the best out of, though, and it’s evident that he’ll be itching to get more minutes if he can.
