Speculation about Inter Milan midfielder Joao Mario is not new on the rumour mill this summer when it comes to Everton and Marco Silva having a potential interest in him.
The former West Ham United loanee has been linked reasonably regularly but the speculation never actually seems to carry anything concrete in it and constantly rehashes the same basic information.
Namely, he was on loan at the London Stadium last season and he appears to have no future at the San Siro. Caleciomercatoweb were simply the latest to rehash this story over the weekend and it took me longer to take a swig of my drink than it probably did for them to type the entire so-called article.
In short, we’re still interested in him and he won’t return to training for them after his extended World Cup break, such is their confidence in a transfer coming off.
I’d love to be able to get away with writing that little – I’d get far more done, but such is life.
In any event, the news has gone over well on social media with fans as they’d certainly take the Portuguese international and some certainly hope our interest in him is genuine.
Would take him
