According to Turkish outlet Aksam, Galatasaray are worried that Badou NDiaye could join us or Wolves before they get the chance to try and sign him.
The midfielder is currently at Stoke City but he is being heavily linked away at the moment.
Certainly, we appear to be in the race alongside Premier League newcomers Wolves and the worry of the Turkish side could be a bonus for us.
Indeed, if they are worried that they’re going to miss the boat it suggests that a move from the midfielder could be happening before the deadline in this country next Thursday.
There’s nothing to suggest that we are the favourites right now but it does seem as though this coming week could be an intriguing one in terms of the race for his signature.
And, if we do make a move, I’d expect us to get it sealed ahead of anyone else.
