Everton have been battling to find consistency under new manager Marco Silva, who splashed the cash significantly following his arrival in the summer.
The Toffees picked up another three points on Saturday by defeating Brighton 3-1 at Goodison Park, where summer signing Richarlison scored a brace, but some fans saved some praise for another of their more recent additions.
Defender Lucas Digne has immediately made a positive impression on Merseyside after signing from LaLiga champions Barcelona and Everton fans were quick to respond to a message posted by the France international after the match.
The 25-year-old took to Twitter to praise the ‘amazing’ support from the Toffees faithful and was met with a vast amount of praise from the passionate fans, who believe Digne can become a crucial player in their squad over the course of the coming years.
