Everton are showing signs of progress under the guidance of Marco Silva but there is still a lot of work to be done.

The defence has improved following the acquisitions of Yerry Mina and Lucas Digne in the summer, both of whom arrived from Barcelona, while Chelsea loanee Kurt Zouma has also caught the eye with impressive displays.

At right-back, Seamus Coleman is still the regular fixture in the side but reports from The Sun state that Silva wants to sign Crystal Palace’s rising star Aaron Wan-Bissaka to provide competition to the Republic of Ireland international.

According to the reports, Everton are willing to offer either Ademola Lookman or Cenk Tosun in makeweight to get a deal done by Palace fans on social media were quick to show that they are not interested in any deal that would take 20-year-old Wan-Bissaka away from Selhurst Park.
