Loads of fans from clubs around the Premier League have been reacting on social media to reports by Sky Sports, claiming Everton forward Richarlison’s ‘world-class’ potential.
The report notes that Richarlison has scored more league goals for Everton than any other player since the Brazilian joined in a club-record £50million deal, with the 19-cap international boasting 22 strikes in 59 outings.
One more goal in the Premier League this season will also make the 22-year-old only the second Toffees player to hit double figures in successive top-flight campaigns this century.
It is not only through his goals that Sky Sports feel Richarlison has a wealth of room to become ‘world-class’, as few match his levels of commitment having made the most tackles (55) of any Premier League forward with 18 more than the next-best man (Chelsea’s Willian with 37).
He’s also dribbled past more opponents (42 to 39) and created more chances (26 to 21) this season than he managed in all of last, while his haul of shots this term have come evenly between right foot (24), left foot (17) and his head (19).
Will Richarlison become a 'world-class' forward?
Yes
No
Richarlison’s tally of 22 top-flight strikes is also the most by any player aged under 25 since August 2018 excluding penalties, which included only moves Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford ahead (24 in total).

Good player for sure. Wouldn’t go as far as world class. But he’s still young. Definitely someone they should be looking to build around

In other Everton news, the club are unlikely to target a 9-cap ace in the summer, despite Carlo Ancelotti’s eagerness for a deal in January.
