Talks are apparently underway for Cuco Martina to join Stoke City on loan from Everton this summer loan window.
The permanent window shut in this country this time last week but the loan window for EFL clubs remains open.
And, after sending Ashley Williams to the Potters, it looks like the erratic right-back could be following suit according to Football Insider.
The defender is good at getting forward and brings good energy but defensively he is very, very suspect.
Certainly, he’s nothing on Seamus Coleman and Mason Holgate is someone I’d rather play in front of him so it’s probably for the best that we let him go.
Whether or not Stoke will want to keep him past this season remains to be seen, though, and he could well be found out by some Championship attackers in the months to come if he ends up there.
