With a number of late captures for Everton on permanent transfer deadline day, well it’s fair to say we saw some quality additions added to our first team ranks, some big fees paid, and some obvious holes plugged.
What we now find out is how quickly they can adjust to life at Goodison Park and the Premier League.
With Director of Football Marcel Brands joining manager Marco Silva for their first transfer window together, the club interviewed him and he told the Official Site that in acknowledging expectations and ‘ambitions’ surrounding the club, he always knew that we had to make signings that would match that.
He obviously feels we did given the captures of Richarlison, Lucas Digne, Joao Virginia, Bernard, Yerry Mina, Andre Gomes and Kurt Zouma.
