According to Portuguese outlet Record, the Blues are upping the ante in the chase for Watford forward Andre Carrillo.
Mainly a winger, the 27-year-old offers good technical ability and pace out on the flanks and that is obviously an area that we need to strengthen.
We’ve a plethora of no. 10’s but no-one who can really get out wide and stretch the play so it’d be interesting to see what Carrillo could bring.
He did well for Watford last season and Marco Silva knows him from that time but, equally, I’d say he’d have to reach a new level to really have an impact for us.
The Verdict
I’m open to this idea but I’d hope that he’s going to kick-on if he arrives at Finch Farm.
A player with quality, consistency is now needed from him and Marco would have to demand that if we were to sign him this summer.
