Everton fans have been left dreaming of the possibilities after a fresh transfer report emerged this week.

According to La Repubblica, via Football Italia, the Toffees are one of several teams in pursuit of Torino centre-forward Andrea Belotti with the Serie A outfit demanding a hefty €50m (£44.5m) for his services.

They also cite interest from AC Milan, Atletico Madrid and Carlo Ancelotti’s former club Napoli.

And it appears as if the talisman would be a most welcome addition at Goodison Park. Its easy to see why.

Would you like to see Belotti at Goodison Park?

Absolutely!

Absolutely!

No thanks!

The 26-year-old has continued to find the net for Torino this campaign, scoring 15 goals from 31 appearances, which is quickly approaching a better return than last term’s attempt of 17 goals in 39 games.

Clearly, Belotti knows where the onion bag is.

Ancelotti currently has Dominic Calvert-Lewin as his number one striking choice, but no real candidate to partner him in attack –  Richarlison, a winger by trade, has featured there and Moise Kean is yet to adapt to the surroundings in Merseyside.

I think that it’s quite right for many Toffees supporters to be salivating at the thought of DCL being paired with the Italian next season.

Here’s exactly how they’ve been reacting to the news on Twitter…
