The Premier League is away for the weekend, of course, but it’ll be back next time out as the Blues look to remain unbeaten.
It’s certainly been a good start to proceedings this year but I do wonder whether we could have made an even better start with more points on the board.
Anyway, we can’t complain about that too much though it does seem interesting that we’re not having the chance to see VAR used in our game next time out.
The Premier League has announced that the World Cup initiative will feature in games next weekend but our match with West Ham misses out – though it is only a trial.
Indeed, as per the Liverpool Echo the trial is only going to look at the 3pm games on the Saturday whilst we take on the Hammers on the Sunday.
Certainly, it’s not a massive deal but you’d like to think we will be part of the test next time around.
