He will wear the number 33 shirt at Goodison Park and will deputise for Tim Howard after Richard Wright left for West Ham earlier this summer.

Everton’s Scottish goalkeeper Iain Turner is still suffering from a groin injury whereas John Ruddy, who has been on the bench for the first three games of the season may well be loaned out for more experience.
