Everton ‘Set sights’ on Brighton Winger

On the weekend Everton drew 1-1 at Goodison Park against newly promoted side Nottingham Forest with Demari Gray equalising in the 87th minute from a Jordon Pickford assist, whilst being the better team for majority of the game it is clear Everton are desperate for attacking options especially a number 9.

It now seems that Everton have indicated a approach for Brighton Winger Leandro Trossard as Frank Lampard see’s him a perfect replacement for Anthony Gordon (Via @SportsPeteO) who looks to be getting closer to a move away from Goodison to join Chelsea after a previous bid was rejected Which we covered Here.

The 27 year old Belgian is now in his 4th season as a Brighton player having played 103 games for the Seagulls scoring 19 goals and assisting 11 so far on the back of his best scoring season in the Premier League when he scored 8 goals and 3 assists in 34 games, Via (TransferMarkt)

With the signing of Leandro Trossard it will allow Frank Lampard to have more options across the attack with current Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin on the side lines for a number of weeks the blues have been struggling for goals in the opening 3 games of the season.

Does this signing make sense and would you be happy with Leandro Trossard?
