The 23-year-old can be seen sprinting a good two-thirds of the pitch to get back and defend during what appears to be a training match, and much of the Toffees faithful have been left drooling as a result.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side have clearly been hard in preparation for their return to Premier League action this weekend, which of course, is against none other than arch-rivals Liverpool.
One supporter claimed that Mo Salah’s “got no chance” with Holgate looking in top-form in the footage whilst a few others raved about his impressive speed.

The Englishman, who is valued at just £12.15m, has come on leaps and bounds under Ancelotti this campaign, cementing his name down as the Italian’s first-choice centre-back.
