A fresh transfer report has sent the Everton fanbase into raptures this week, and it’s easy to see why.
According to French outlet L’Equipe, via Sport Witness, the Toffees are interested in a move for former loan star Kurt Zouma should he become available this summer.
The Goodison Park faithful know the Frenchman all too well following a successful 2018/19 campaign at the club which saw him firmly engrained as a fan-favourite with his dominating displays.

Zouma played 32 times for Everton in the Premier League where he provided two goals and two assists as well as averaging 3.8 clearances, 3.1 aerial duels won, 1.7 interceptions and 1 tackle per game, via WhoScored.
L’Equipe claim that Carlo Ancelotti is keeping an eye on the situation with him supposedly chasing a new central defender, and evidently, many would love to see the 25-year-old return to Merseyside.
Although it remains to be seen how much he’d command or if he’d even be free to leave west London as he’s under contract until 2023.
