It has been over a week since the transfer window shut and here is a look at how the Everton players who are out on loan have been getting on.

Andre Gomes, made his debut for Lille against Olympique Marseille coming on as a second-half sub but did not have the impact he had hoped with French journalist Andrés Onrubia Ramos labelling it as “catastrophic“. He has since gone on to make one more sub appearance helping Lille to their third win of the season.

Translated: “André Gomes’ entry against OM has been catastrophic for Lille.

“It has not brought the northerners closer to the goal, but rather the opposite. Slow in movement, very little aggressive in pressure and playing with many touches. Very far from that version that we saw in Valencia.”

Dele Alli, who was signed on deadline day in January has had an impressive start on loan at Besiktas having a 100% win success rate when he’s played, even getting a goal in his second game for the Turkish club, but has since picked up an injury and has missed Besiktas’ last game in which they lost.

Ellis Simms joined Championship outfit Sunderland and hit the ground running, scoring twice on his debut and hitting a third in his second game. Since then, Simms hasn’t been able to help out The Black Cats like he would have hoped but still has a goal every 188 minutes so far.

Nathan Broadhead, who had an impressive loan at Sunderland last season hitting 13 in 27 and was rumoured to join them again this summer but he joined Wigan Athletic and so far has just one goal in his 6 appearances all from the bench.

Lewis Dobbin, who can play across the entire front line has been playing on the wing and behind the striker so far during his spell at Derby and picked up an assist in his first full 90 minutes for The Rams against Peterborough.

Jarrad Branthwaite (PSV), Niels Nkonkou (Cardiff City), Lewis Warrington (Fleetwood Town), Lewis Gibson (Bristol Rovers) and Tyler Onyango (Burton Albion) have all been used primarily as subs during their loan spells so far but in recent weeks Nkounkou and Warrington have cemented themselves a place in the starting eleven.
