Everton are interested in signing discarded Tottenham Hotspur winger Lucas Moura during the January transfer window, according to recent reports

The toffees have severely been struggling for goals this season, scoring just 15 goals in 19 Premier League games thus far.

Anthony Gordon and Demarai Gray currently top their scoring charts for the season, with just 3 goals each.

This lack of goals has led to links to a few attackers in recent days, with Moussa Dembele and Kamaldeen Sulemana two of the latest to be linked with a move to Goodison Park during the January window.

According to Sport Witness, Everton are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur winger Lucas Moura,  with the Brazilian’s contract due to expire in the summer. This would allow the blues to sign the 30-year-old for a cut price in this January window.

Moura had a successful first season with Tottenham since joining from PSG in 2017, scoring 10 Premier League goals in his first season.

However, since then he has not managed to score more than 4 goals in a single league season despite playing 30+ games in all of those campaigns.

With both Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski joining Tottenham in recent transfer windows, Lucas Moura has dropped further and further down the pecking order in Antonio Conte’s squad.
