Though the Blues haven’t been too active this summer so far in terms of player recruitment, the weekend saw some more backroom appointments made.
Dan Donachie has returned as Head of Therapy Services whilst Bruno Mendes has come in as Head of Performance.
Certainly, it’s good to see that Marco Silva is continuing to shape his staff as we prepare for his new era and, by the looks of things, Kevin Campbell is pleased with the return of Donachie.
The former striker was quick to respond to the news from the club on Twitter, posting this message:

Donachie was at Aston Villa most recently but left last week and has quickly returned to Finch Farm.
The Verdict
It’s always good to see old staff come back when they’ve still got plenty to offer and Campbell is obviously happy about that too.
Football is about much more than the eleven on the pitch these days and hopefully Donachie will get straight back up to speed with us.
