According to L’Equipe – via Sport Witness – Everton have shown an interest in striker Michy Batshuayi though it is thought that he prefers a move abroad.
The forward won Chelsea the Premier League title in 2016/17 with his goal against West Brom but in truth he has been used sparingly during his time at the Bridge.
He is a player of talent, though, and is still young so has got plenty of room to improve.
Certainly, he reminds me a fair bit of Romelu Lukaku and though he is not at that standard yet I could see him eventually becoming a very good forward.
He’s got pace and power and if he can polish of that finishing he’d be a top forward – one I’d like at our club.
Whether or not we can bring him in, though, remains to be seen as it looks as though a fair amount of clubs are interested in his signature as things stand.
