Tottenham Hotspur still hold an interest in Everton winger Anthony Gordon after failing in their attempts to sign the Englishman during the summer window after they were priced out of a move, according to recent reports

Anthony Gordon is having a difficult season in an Everton shirt this season, despite still retaining his title of top scorer in the Premier League so far, having scored 3 goals in 15 appearances.

The 21-year-old was strongly linked with a move away from the club during the summer transfer window, with both Chelsea and Tottenham strongly linked to the winger.

However, both teams were unable to complete a deal for Gordon after Everton reportedly valued him at around £60 million [via Daily Mail]

However, Antonio Conte’s side could make another move for the Everton winger in January according to recent reports.

According to Lyall Thomas at Sky Sports on The Last Word on Spurs Podcast:

“Anthony Gordon is still a player that Tottenham really admire. Tottenham Director Of Football, Fabio Paratici really ‘loves’ Gordon and he is one of his favourite players in the Premier League.”

Although Gordon is Everton’s top scorer this season, if any club were to offer even close to their reported valuation of £60 million, it would be no surprise if the club were to accept it in order to raise funds for their own January shopping.
