As quoted by the club’s official site, Morgan Schneiderlin has backed both Kurt Zouma and Lucas Digne to continuing shining after promising starts in the side.
Zouma has come in at centre-half with relative ease thanks to his experience in the Premier League and pace and power.
Digne, meanwhile, is locked in a fight for the left-back role with Leighton Baines but did himself no harm at the weekend against Huddersfield.
Certainly, both look welcome additions and the former Southampton midfielder is certainly of the opinion that that will only continue.
He said:
“They are two very good players, we know that. Two games in a matter of days is not easy but they both produced very good performances. We need that for the rest of the season.
“They are settling well and add depth to the squad. They are very nice guys and good players, which makes it easy. They speak good English, too.”
Certainly, I think both will prove to be good players for us.
Digne has pace and energy out wide whilst his end product is also something we are already reaping the benefits from.
Meanwhile, Zouma looks a potentially very good centre-half and hopefully he can really kick on during his loan spell with us.
It’s a good start for sure.
