Everton invested heavily in their squad during the summer after Marco Silva’s arrival and it seems the club are happy to sit back to relax during the January window.
While the Toffees continue to be linked to a host of players across world football, Director of Football Marcel Brands has urged fans not to expect too much activity during the remainder of the month.
Everton have shown signs of progress this season, although there have been a number of poor performances that show there is further work to be done, the Merseyside outfit are not prepared to be dragged into the frenzy that usually occurs during the mid-season window.
Despite the fact there is usually a desire from supporters to be active whenever the opportunity arises, the majority of fans are understanding of the club’s stance and believe they have enough within the squad to have a successful season.
