Club President keen on want-away flop who could leave Everton in swap-deal – report

|

Cenk Tosun may not have many admirers on Merseyside, but the striker certainly has one in Besiktas’ President Fikret Orman, as per quotes reported by Aksam.

The Turkish publication are again quoting the 51-year-old on his admiration of our flop forward, after he described the 27-year-old as a “good boy, good Besiktaslidir”.

Orman also reiterated that he sees Tosun as a great strike partner for Burak Yilmaz, who featured alongside each other over the international break – the pair combined for two of the Crescent-Stars six goals.

What kind of deal Besiktas’ President would be after is still uncertain, however, as Aksam are suggesting Orman could offer us Domagoi Vida in a player exchange, despite fotoMac previously claiming that the Black Eagles would only be able to sign Tosun on loan.

Supposedly, the move behind the swap-deal originated when we showed an interest in the Besiktas centre-back, who has made 23 appearances in the Super Lig this season, but has only recorded 22 successful tackles.

The Croatian has been supreme at intercepting the ball, though, with 50 in the league along with 90 clearances and 1090 total passes.

Aksam also state that Tosun hopes to leave Goodison Park in the summer, having failed to secure a way out in the past only to continue playing a back-up role under Marco Silva.
