Despite Marco Silva saying earlier this week that he’d like to work with Sandro Ramirez the striker has joined Real Sociedad – the Spanish club has confirmed.
The player featured for the Blues in the week and looked relatively sharp, prompting Silva to make comments that suggested he might well stay at the club.
However, that has not happened and he instead joins the Basque side where he’ll be looking to get regular football:

It’s a season-long loan so hopefully he’ll find some form and then come back to us feeling more confident because I think he is a good player.
Silva surely could get a tune out of him too but we’ll have to wait a year to see if that is going to happen.
In the meantime, I’m firmly of the expectation that he is going to score plenty this season back in his home country.
