Mark Lawrenson might not always get things right or excite with his commentary but, this weekend, I don’t mind what he has to say.
Indeed, in his latest BBC Predictions piece he has backed the Blues to beat Huddersfield 2-0 at Goodison Park and it is hard to argue with that.
The Toffees host the Terriers tomorrow afternoon in a game that we really should be winning, especially when you look at our form.
And for Lawrenson, three points will be on the way.
He said:
“Everton have started brightly and Huddersfield just have the one point from their home game against Cardiff. There’s a real feel-good factor at Goodison, and goals are flying in as well.”
Certainly, I rarely agree with an ex-Red but here I think he is right.
I’m confident we will win tomorrow and the only thing I disagree with is the goal margin.
For me, it is going to be a 3-0 win to the Toffees and another fine three points in the bag after what has been a good start indeed.
Certainly, there’s no reason why we shouldn’t have twelve points after this weekend really but there we are.
