With all the talk of a potential £50million all in transfer of Watford’s Brazilian winger Richarlison to Everton over the last few days, the player was reportedly at Finch Farm yesterday for a medical and talks about personal terms.
Talksport are one of a number of outlets to be reporting today that he passed his medical with flying colours and today will see the finer points of his new contract thrashed out and agreed.
It’s not believed that there are any major issues to solve on his contract, and Talksport believe that an announcement and confirmation of his transfer could be with us as early as this evening.
If the deal goes through the 21-year-old would reunite with Marco Silva as he signed him at Vicarage Road initially and he would become our first capture of the summer. Whatever anyone thinks about the price – suggested to be £35million to begin with and then add-ons – it would certainly be a statement and on that front it would be welcomed by fans, with the hopes that more would soon follow as we rebuild the starting eleven.
