Marco Silva has claimed that the rest of the squad will soon get his ideas as well as Richarlison and that certainly bodes well for us.

The Brazilian winger has started in fine form this season with three goals in two games coming so far against Wolves and Southampton respectively.

He’s looking sharp, then, and Silva reckons that it won’t be long until the rest of our players are in tune completely with how he wants us to approach games.

As quoted by the Echo, he said:

“Of course I know him from before and so it is a little bit different, he knows my work, he knows when I am happy or unhappy with some situations but, I’m sure, that in six months, in 12 months, my relationship with him will be the same with Theo and all the players in the same position.”

Certainly, this should prove a warning to the rest of the league given how well the Brazilian is playing.

Indeed, if the rest of our team can get to his level – and there were signs of that at the weekend – the rest of the league had better take us seriously.

We’re not going to win the league, of course, but the likes of Arsenal need to be looking firmly over their shoulder this season.
