Everton have confirmed that Muhamed Besic will complete a loan move out to Championship side Middlesbrough once his Football League clearance comes through.

The Bosnian international midfielder joined Everton from Hungarian side Ferencvaros back in 2014 and he’s made 56 appearances for the club across his three and a half years here.

He didn’t feature in 2016/17 having sustained a serious knee injury in pre season in the game against Manchester United, but he did return to action in our Europa League qualifying victory over Hajduk Split at Goodison Park back in August.

The 25 year old has gone on to make eight appearances for his this season, most recently the Europa League win at Apollon Limassol on December 8 but he heads out to the Riverside in search of greater game time under Tony Pulis’ side who are on the cusp of the play off spots.
