The past years have seen the likes of Espanyol, Athletic Bilbao and Udinese travel to Goodison Park as Everton’s guests for the final game of preseason.
Not this year however, as Everton have recently confirmed reports that they will play Andrew Johnson’s former club Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park to conclude preparations for the new Premier League season.
Everton have yet to announce any plans of a preseason tour, although this has been common place in recent preseasons.
Rumours of a training camp in Austria are rife, where Everton are expected to face local teams in warm up fixtures.
The club have already announced friendlies against Bury and Preston, more announcements are expected soon.
