With three wins on the spin for Everton manager Marco Silva, there was every reason for confidence as we made the trip last Saturday to relegated Fulham and Craven Cottage.

Sadly the players hadn’t read the script on what could’ve been four wins on the spin as a seriously below par performance saw the hosts take a 2-0 victory and we had little answer.

The performance is probably epitomised by statistics website Whoscored who only had one player worthy of a plus seven score in their ratings system.

That was 36-year-old stalwart Phil Jagielka who picked up 7.05 to take Man of the Match for his defensive efforts on the day.

Completing the top five were Richarlison (6.80), Kurt Zouma (6.62), goalkeeper Jordan Pickford (6.53) and Idrissa Gueye (6.47).

Not what the travelling fans were hoping for and with the pressure reducing given our recent turn of form, this result will simply spark more questions again sadly.
