As we approach the start of the new Premier League season, we also approach the deadline of the summer transfer window. The arrival of a centre-back has been a priority for Silva for much of the summer, and we’ve been linked with a move for Manchester United’s Marcos Rojo.
As the Daily Post reports, we’ve been linked with a move for the Manchester United defender, Marcos Rojo. The article states that Barcelona’s Yerry Mina is still our first-choice centre-back to augment our defence.
Additionally, it’s believed that United will insist on a fee of £30M to allow their Argentinian defender to depart Old Trafford.
Here’s how Everton fans have responded to the rumours on Twitter.
Only if he comes with that bloke still on his back! pic.twitter.com/THro7d8jdl

Only if they take Schneiderlin back and don't make us pay any money.

Would people seriously rather have Alfie Mawson for the same money? Rojo played in champions league/world cup. Mawson relegated! Everyone needs to give their heads a wobble.

Verdict:
Rojo is endowed with great Premier League experience, having represented one of the most renowned teams in the world. Technically, Rojo is an accomplished player who displays good passing ability. Furthermore, he is quite quick and agile, which are useful attributes. He would be a beneficial signing.
