A few Everton fans have been reacting online after the club announced that they will be screening December’s Merseyside Derby live at Goodison Park.
We take on Liverpool at Anfield on December 4 in a 20:15 midweek kick-off, but only a small percentage of the fanbase will actually be able to attend the match in person as the club were only allocated 2,749 tickets.
Supporters are now being given the chance to watch the derby clash among their fellow fans back at Goodison Park, where former star players like Mark Higgins will be in attendance.
Higgins is scheduled to be hosting a Questions and Answers session at the ground, where there will also be a raffle and cash bar.
Tickets will set supporters back £20 for adults and £10 for under 18s, and all entrance fees include pie and chips and a complimentary drink.
There is a limit of 50 adult tickets and 50 U18 tickets per purchase in place.
Can we beat Liverpool at Anfield?
Yes
Draw
No
Not every fan reacting to the announcement is anticipating the screening to be a night of celebration, though, with one suggesting they will ‘do an Everton, and not turn up’.
