Some clubs just seem to get the unluckiest occurrences when it comes to injuries, and Everton are a team that certainly fit into this category.

Sky Sports News reported that Toffees defender Yerry Mina missed out on training this week after picking up a knee problem against West Ham on the weekend, a fixture in which the Colombian international kept a clean sheet in as Everton claimed their first win in the Premier League after four games without picking up a single point.
As listings from Everton’s official website shows, the Toffees already have a number of players out due to injury, and the prospect of Mina missing out on Saturday’s game against Brighton now means that Marco Silva’s side will have just Michael Keane and Mason Holgate to call upon for the centre-back position, leaving many supporters on social media frustrated.
Here’s what some Everton fans had to say about Mina’s absence from training, with supporters gutted that the 25-year-old defender could seemingly be out for the weekend…

Big Yerry Mina missing training today with a knee injury he picked up late in the day against West Ham, doesn’t bode well for the weekend. Hopefully he’ll be fit for Brighton.

Everton have only managed one clean sheet on the road all season in the Premier League, and if Mina is to miss out on the trip to the Amex this weekend, the Toffees could be in for a tough time down on the English south coast.
