Everton were held to a 1-1 draw with Newcastle United on Wednesday evening, in a game many will feel the Toffees should have won.

It leaves Marco Silva’s side with plenty of work to do heading into a challenging trio of fixtures up against Watford, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur – with Everton entering a period that could make or break their season.

The overall performance at Goodison Park was disappointing, with Salomon Rondon giving the visitors the lead before Richarlison equalised with his seventh goal in 13 Premier League games this season – although his own display left a lot to be desired.

Richarlison has been an excellent addition to Silva’s squad after arriving from Watford in the summer but the 21-year-old still has areas where he needs to improve, which was identified by some fans on social media after the game.

We have gathered some of the reactions to his display against Newcastle below.
