Video: Everton man is more than just magic with the ball at his feet

Andre Gomes has made a significant impression at Everton already, with his performance against Crystal Palace over the weekend impressing Toffees around the world.

The Portuguese is clearly a magician with the ball at his feet, and he proved that with his fantastic range of passing, dribbling and technique against the Eagles.

However, in a hilarious clip posted on the official Everton Twitter page, Gomes has proven that there’s more to his magic than just keeping the ball at his feet.

In the clip, Gomes is wearing a jacket before going out of sight for a brief moment, only to reemerge jacketless. Naturally, there’s only one conclusion that Everton could have drawn – he’s Clark Kent.

We’re hoping that for his next trick, Gomes can help the Toffees to another three points next weekend. He pulled all the strings through the midfield for us against Palace, but he’s going to have to be even better against Man Utd next weekend.

The Red Devils are enjoying a bit of a resurgence at present, and so it’s vitally important that our midfield is able to control the game.
