Nico Barella is a young player catching the eye over in Italy for his performances with Serie A side Cagliari.
Indeed, the likes of Tottenham are apparently looking at him as well as us but it seems as though a move to the Premier League might not exactly be imminent.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, the player would prefer to stay in Italy for the near future at least with the likes of Milan and Roma apparently taking a look at him.
It might make sense for him to stay in a country familiar to him, then, given his young age and we’ll perhaps have to wait before we can try and sign him.
If he does join one of the heavyweights of the Italian game, though, that will only make things tougher for us as his price is undoubtedly going to go up.
It remains to be seen, then, as to what actually happens.
