With further disappointment for Everton in last weekend’s Premier League clash with Newcastle United, things don’t get much easier this weekend as we face off against Chelsea.
Having capitulated a two goal advantage at St James’ Park to lose 3-2 on the day, next Sunday we host Maurizio Sarri’s side at Goodison Park desperately needed to get back to winning ways given the obvious pressure that surrounds the first team and manager Marco Silva.

Baines is the only ‘major doubt’ listed by them but he does have an expected return date of Sunday, and Coleman’s illness leaves him as a ‘slight doubt’ according to them – equally expected to return for Sunday.
Jags remains out full stop and his ‘knock’ carries no speculated return date as of yet.
Whether Coleman does come back into Silva’s thoughts is anyone’s guess, whatever the selection, we have to get some kind of result surely.
